BioWaveGO Pain Relief Pad placements are different from conventional electrical stimulation. The active electrical field forms beneath and surrounding each pad. As a result, pads need to be placed directly over specific locations of pain.

Pads must not touch each other:

  • One inch is the minimum spacing between pads
  • There is no maximum spacing between pads

Getting Started Video - Ankle/Foot Treatment

Outside Ankle or Foot Pain
(Ankle or Foot Sprain)

Place first pad directly over the location of pain on the outside of the ankle or foot (in this example the pad to the left). Place the second pad (the one to the right) one inch away from the first pad partially over the bony part of the outside of the ankle.

Inside Ankle or
Foot Pain

Place first pad directly over the location of pain on the inside of the ankle or foot (in this example the bottom pad). Place the second pad (the one above) one inch away from the first pad partially over the bony part of the inside of the ankle.

Arch or Heal Pain
(Plantar Fasciitis)

Place first pad directly over the location of pain on the arch or heel. Place the second pad on the outside of the heel at least one inch apart from the first pad.

Back of Foot Pain
(Achilles Tendinitis)

Place first pad directly over the location of pain on the Achilles tendon (upper pad). Place the second pad below at least one inch away from the first pad over the back of the heel.

Top of Foot Pain (Metatarsal Pain or Morton’s Neuroma)

Place first pad directly over the location of pain on the top of the foot. Place the second pad in an opposing position on the bottom of the foot.

Two Locations
of Pain

Place each pad directly over a location of pain anywhere on the foot or ankle. One inch is the minimum spacing between pads.
